Miniatures in 54mm scale are the origin of modern war gaming, and they have come back strongly over
the last few years with an ever growing selection of top quality and very affordable figures from many
manufacturers for an ever widening range of subjects. But the critical accessories that have not kept pace are proper
period buildings, and what is available is commonly outrageously expensive, heavy, and fragile. But once
again, TVAG rides to the rescue with our latest offering of card stock designs, Tudor Towne.
These authentic Tudor architectural designs are sold as PDF files for self-printing and assembly.
As with all other TVAG building ranges, they are designed for quick and easy assembly using only white glue,
3/16" foam core or 5mm MDF, and simple tools. When so made, the models are sturdy and can last for years of gaming use,
but still easily carried to games and conventions, if desired.
Buildings can be made as shown with windows and doors in place, or these can be cut out, and
with removable roofs and platforms/ledges installed within, interior access can be arranged.
The models are all based on actual surviving examples, representing designs correct for all manner of
games and dioramas with figures and subjects ranging from Elizabethan to English Civil War, and other domestic conflicts,
to the wider Continental actions including Seven Years War, Napoleonic battles, and straight through the World Wars.
As common housing designs all over Britain, Holland, Belgium, and Germany, Tudor Towne models will look as
realistic with everything from Pikemen to Panzers beside them!
All items are delivered postage free via E-mail, ready for printing on matte white, heavy card stock
(110# recommended). The wide use of photographic textures means no painting is required, and the finished products will
look breathtakingly real next to your own painted miniatures of all types.
More items are planned, but there are enough models and accessories now in Tudor Towne
to fully populate your table top--or yard games!--making your games more visually exciting than ever!
Nota Bene: Credit to Gentleman War Gamer and Modeler, Glen Allison, for his
help in perfecting assemblies and providing the photos of his work. (Miniature figures shown are from his personal
collection)
